BIKING 5days/4nights HUE to NHA TRANG
Highlight: Hai Van pass, Hoian ancient town, My Lai massacre, Quy Nhon royal beach and Nhatrang world beautiful coastal city.
Brief Itinerary:
Day1: Hue - Hoi An (L,D)
Drive by bus 18km out of Hue to the coast. Begin riding off the beaten track for 40km along a picturesque, narrow peninsular road from Thuan An Beach to Vinh Loc. Hop on a local ferry to cross the estuary of the Perfume River before joining Highway 1. From here, transfer or cycle the first of the day’s three hill climbs. Check in Hoi An.
Day2: Hoi An leisure cycling (B,L)
After a leisurely breakfast in this old trading port, take to the bikes for a ride into Hoi An and the villages of the surrounding countryside. Cycle briefly to the quaint village of Thuan Tinh, set among rice fields and coconut groves. Stop to check out the strawberry garden and meet local villagers, the rest of the afternoon is yours to relax at the beach.
Day3: Hoi An - Quang Ngai - Qui Nhon (B,L)
Depart Hoi An early morning and transfer to Quang Ngai. Unload bikes for a leisurely ride to Qui Nhon, capital city of Binh Dinh Province, once an US-held port and supply center during the War, and refuge for thousands fleeing heavy bombing of the countryside. Travel by bus and bike as the scenic highway follows the coast southward. Transfer to hotel on arrival for overnight in Qui Nhon.
Day4: Qui Nhon - Nha Trang (B,L)
Today’s ride is along on a unique little road that follows the Reunification Express Railway. Again we transfer out of town to avoid the main highway and start riding along a remote but well-maintained road running alongside the tracks. En route, stop at Dai Lanh Beach for refreshments and a dip in the sea before continuing to the overnight.
Day5: Nha Trang (B,L)
Following breakfast, we drive to Nha Trang Pier for an authentic seacoast experience on a morning boat trip, first to the wondrous aquarium and then to Hon Mun Island. End of tour.
